Dr. Tolga Tolunay, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Gazi University. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Gaziantep. He graduated from Gaziantep Anatolian High School in 1995. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2003. Between 2004-2009, she completed her Orthopedics and Traumatology specialization training at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic. Between 2010-2014, he worked as a Specialist Doctor at Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic. He served as Deputy Chief Physician at the same hospital between 2014-2018.
Dr. Tolunay's areas of expertise; biomechanics, clinical biomechanics of the spine, implant design, and orthopedic tumor surgery. As a member of TİTCK Advanced Treatments and Graft Advisory Commission, TUBİTAK TEYDEB USETEG Call Program Advisory Board Member and KOSGEB Strategic Product Support Program Commission Member, Assoc. Dr. Tolga Tolunay has been serving on scientific commissions since 2016. He has been involved in scientific activities such as project referees and project watchers at TUBITAK; She also worked as a consultant and researcher in projects in which she was personally involved. He has many articles published in national and international scientific journals and over 70 scientific studies. He has national and international book chapter authors. He has presented oral presentations at national and international congresses.
