Todd Parsley BA, PhD

Todd obtained his B.A. in Microbiology from University of California, San Diego, and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from University of California, Irvine. Todd has more than 25 years’ experience in academia and the private sector with extensive expertise in molecular biology and microbiology. He has authored several peer-review publications and has been a primary investigator on NIH-funded grants.

He is currently a member of the America Society of Microbiology and the International Society for Antiviral Research. Prior to joining SynPhaGen, he was a director of Molecular Virology and Microbiology at a contract research organization for over 10 years where he directed multiple research programs focused on pathogen host interactions, viral replication/gene expression and pathogen resistance. He also directed the development of novel anti-infective therapies.
