Tirelo Pitjadi MBBCh, FCPath

Dr. Tirelo Pitjadi is a Consultant Histopathologist at Ampath National Laboratories in Fourways, where he forms part of a team of Pathologists entrusted with delivering quality Dermatopathology services to regional Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, and their patients. Tirelo obtained his MBBCh degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 2006. He developed a particular interest in cutaneous pathology during his subsequent postgraduate training in the Division of Anatomical Pathology at WITS University.

He was admitted to the College of Pathologists of South Africa in 2015 and served as a lecturer and Consultant Pathologist in the School of Pathology at WITS University and the NHLS. until 2017, when he joined Ampath National Laboratories. Tirelo is an Honorary Lecturer in the School of Pathology at the University of the Witwatersrand, where he remains actively involved in the teaching of Dermatopathology to Registrars in the Divisions of Anatomical Pathology and Dermatology.
