Tippi Mackenzie MD

Dr. Tippi MacKenzie is a pediatric surgeon with a special interest in fetal interventions. She is a member of the Biomedical Sciences Program and the director of the UCSF Broad Stem Cell Center, with a research focus on stem cell transplantation in utero to treat genetic diseases. MacKenzie earned her medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she held a clinical appointment in general, thoracic, and fetal surgery.
