Tina is a medical doctor with a specialization in pediatrics. After graduating from Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana she started to work as a young researcher and finished her PhD in Biomedicine. Her main research interest was antibiotic resistance in hospitals. From 2014 she works as a pediatrician and a consultant pediatric infectologist at the Department of Infectious Diseases at University Medical Centre Ljubljana. She is a an ESPID and ESCMID member and in Slovenia a member of Slovenian Society of Chemotherapy,
