Tina Bhutani-jacques MD, MAS, FAAD

Dr. Tina Bhutani-Jacques is a board-certified dermatologist and clinical researcher based in San Francisco, California, where she serves as CEO of Synergy Dermatology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at UCSF.

Dr. Bhutani specializes in the treatment of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and other inflammatory skin diseases. In addition to her clinical work, she is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCSF, where she previously co-directed the Psoriasis Treatment Center and led the Dermatology Clinical Trials Unit. Dr. Bhutani is committed to advancing the care of patients with inflammatory skin disorders and is actively involved in research aimed at developing new treatments and exploring disease mechanisms. She has a particular focus on the impact of these conditions on patient quality of life, mental health, and the role of wellness-based interventions in improving disease outcomes.

Dr. Bhutani has published over 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals and frequently speaks at national and international conferences. She is a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Committee and Medical Advisory Board, and has received research funding from organizations including the NPF, the Dermatology Foundation, and GRAPPA. She currently serves as editor-in-chief of Psoriasis: Targets and Therapy.
