Timothy W. Yu MD, PhD

Dr Yu completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard College, his M.D. and PhD degrees from the University of California at San Francisco, and neurology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (where he served as Chief Resident). He then undertook a fellowship in genetics and genomics at Boston Children’s Hospital, while seeing patients with autism in the clinic at the MGH Lurie Center. He joined the staff of the Division of Genetics and Genomics as an Instructor in 2010 and Assistant Professor in 2013. He is also co-founder of Claritas Genomics, a commercial subsidiary of BCH devoted to practising genomic medicine for children with a rare disease.
