Biography :

Dr. Timo Krings is a Professor of Radiology and Surgery and the Program Director of Neuroradiology, Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto, and an Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiologist with JDMI and UHN. He studied Medicine in Aachen, Germany and at Harvard Medical School in Boston. After residency training in Radiology, he did a clinical pediatric neuro-interventional fellowship with the late Prof. Lasjaunias in Paris, France. Before coming to Toronto he was the Vice President of the European Board of Neuroradiology, and Head of the Scientific Committee of the European Society of Neuroradiology. Dr. Krings is performing both pediatric and adult endovascular procedures and is an expert in complex brain and spinal vascular malformations.
