Tim Mcdougall

Tim has worked in a range of CAMHS settings including community child mental health teams, adolescent in-patient services and secure adolescent forensic services. Tim was formerly Nurse Advisor for CAMHS with the Child Health and Maternity team at the Department of Health. Tim is currently Chair of the Quality Network for Inpatient CAMHS (QNIC) Executive Committee and is a member of the CAMHS and Secure CAMHS Clinical Reference Groups for NHS England. He has been involved in the development of NICE guidelines on Psychosis and Schizophrenia in Children and Young People and Bipolar Disorder in Children, Young People and Adults.

Tim is looking forward to the challenge of helping deliver the Children and Young People work programme and working with the local and national team to improve services for children and young people. When Tim isn’t working (!) he enjoys going to the gym, cooking Middle Eastern food and camping in France.
