Dr. Jackson consultant in anaesthesia & intensive care medicine at Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation trust, having developed an interest in vascular access whilst completing my higher specialist training in intensive care medicine at Leeds General Infirmary, under Andrew Bodenham. I have been clinical lead for vascular access within our trust for approximately 3 years now, and have been involved in the development of pathways which have standardised management of CVADs, as well as continuing to provide a clinical service for insertion of PICCs, tunnelled lines and non-tunnelled CVADs.

Dr. Jackson was invited to join the Infection Prevention Society's (IPS) Vessel Health & Preservation (VHP) working group a couple of years ago, and have provided medical leadership for their process of evaluating the VHP and adapting it for UK practice.
