Tiffany Wiksten MSN, RN-CIC, completed her Master's degree in Nursing from Loyola University in the Population-Based Infection Control and Environmental Safety program and is certified in Infection Control. She has been a nurse for 15 years and has worked in Infection Prevention for over 7 years. She has diverse Infection Prevention experience including adult medical/surgical and ICU populations as well as specialty populations including NICU/pediatrics and BMT/hematology/oncology.
Tiffany is the program manager for the High Consequence Infectious Disease program at Rush University Medical Center and is an active member of the Chicago High Consequence Infectious Disease Workgroup. She has participated in Ebola and High Consequence Infectious Disease training through NETEC, FEMA, SHEA and the CDC.
