Tian-ling Ren PhD

Prof. Tian-Ling Ren got his Ph.D. from the Department of Modern Applied Physics of Tsinghua University in 1997. He has been a full professor at the Institute of Microelectronics of Tsinghua University since 2003. He was a visiting professor at the Electrical Engineering Department of Stanford University from 2011 to 2012.

As the principal investigator, Prof. Ren has undertaken many key research projects such as the Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National High Technology Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc. Prof. Ren’s research interest covers advanced micro- and nano-electronic devices and integrated systems, including 2D material based devices, novel memory technology, micro- and nano- sensors and systems, flexible devices and systems, etc. He has published more than 300 papers in international journals and conferences and has more than 50 patents.
