Tiago Coimbra Costa Pinto Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2009), Medical Residency in Internal Medicine at Hospital das Clinicas/UFPE (2012), Medical Residency in Geriatrics at the Real Hospital Portugues de Beneficência in Pernambuco (2014), Master's Degree in Neuropsychiatry and Human Sciences Behavior/UFPE (2015) and Ph.D. in Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences/UFPE (2019). Geriatrician certified by the Brazilian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (2014). He conducts research in the Areas of Neuropsychiatry, with a focus on Alzheimer's Disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Mood Disorders (Depression), Anxiety Disorders, and Eating Disorders. Experience in Teaching Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Medicine Students, especially in the areas of Internal Medicine, Semiology, and Intensive Care. At the moment, acts as Preceptor Physician at the Teaching Hospital Dr. Washington Antônio de Barros - UNIVASF since March 2015, and as General Practitioner and Geriatrician, in Office, Home Consultations, and Hospital Care. He also works as a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Estácio de Juazeiro-BA.
