Thomas Wilson Faust MD

Dr. Faust is a transplant hepatologist with MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute. He has more than a decade of experience with major liver programs. He specializes in the management of patients with acute and chronic liver diseases, as well as patients who have undergone liver transplantation. Dr. Faust's research interests include the use of bio-artificial liver support devices treatments for patients with viral hepatitis and autoimmune liver diseases, management of acute liver failure and bioethical implications of liver transplantation. His special interests include transplant hepatology and gastroenterology.
