Thomas Schrepfer, M.D., MSc, FMH, ORL is board certified in otolaryngology. Dr. Schrepfer completed his medical degree at University of Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland. He served his anesthesiology internship at Regional Hospital Horgen, where he also completed his general surgery residency. He then completed his otolaryngology- head and neck surgery internship at University Hospital Zurich. He has over 10 years of experience of ENT trainings and courses, covering topics ranging from a facial trauma course to a pediatric endoscopic & open airway surgical course.
Prior to joining University of Florida Health, Dr. Schrepfer was a fellow pediatric otolaryngology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Ohio. He was a research fellow at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Kresge Hearing Research Institute at the University of Michigan Schacht Lab.
At UF Health, he is an assistant professor in the department of otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the UF College of Medicine. Dr. Schrepfer is a member of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology and the Swiss Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He has contributed to a number of research publications, book chapters, posters and oral presentations at national and international conferences, and invited talks, presentations and lectures.
