Thomas R. Dekoj MD, FACS, FASCRS

Dr. Thomas R. Dekoj is board certified in general and colorectal surgery. He performs laparoscopic and open surgery, as well as treatment of anal and rectal problems and colonoscopies for screening. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and takes pride in being able to speak directly with his English –speaking and Spanish-speaking patients. A native of Chicagoland, Dr. Dekoj is very happy to be practicing in the Holy Cross and Mt. Sinai communities. He is passionate about serving all patients with respect and providing the state of the art in medical and surgical care for patients in Chicago.

Dr. Dekoj was born in Chicago-land and is very passionate about serving that community. He has specializations in general surgery and surgery of the large intestine, rectum, and anus. He does surgery with laparoscopy (laser), standard surgery, colonoscopies, and treats diseases of the anus and rectum. Dr. Dekoj consults with his patients directly in Spanish to give special care to his Spanish-speaking patients.
