Professor Thomas Powles is a Professor of Genitourinary Oncology at Queen Mary University of London and Director of Barts Cancer Centre at Barts Health NHS Trust in London, United Kingdom. He is an internationally recognized medical oncologist specializing in bladder and kidney cancers, with a strong focus on immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and biomarker-driven treatment strategies.

Professor Powles has led numerous international clinical trials that have resulted in practice-changing advances and regulatory approvals for new cancer therapies.
