Thomas Poole BSc, MBBS, FRCO

Mr Poole's ophthalmic training was centred in London, including stints at the Western Eye Hospital, St Thomas' Hospital, and a year's fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He also spent a year at the eye unit in Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre, Moshi, Tanzania.

He was appointed Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital in 2003, where he is the eye unit's specialist in corneal and ocular surface disease. His special interests include corneal endothelial grafting or "DSAEK", keratoconus treatment, and all types of modern cataract surgery and lens implantation.
