Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Mittlmeier Our core competence lies in the care of accident-injured patients. Our aim is to restore bones, organs, and tissues that were injured in an accident. The preservation of extremities and functions has the highest priority. The care of life-threatening multiple injuries (multiple trauma) is of particular importance in our clinic. As traumatologists, we are responsible for the collaboration of the interdisciplinary emergency room team.

The clinic is a certified trauma center with a supraregional supply mandate and approved for the severe injuries procedure (SAV) of the employers' liability insurance association. As clinic director, Prof. Dr. Th. Mittlmeier the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Trauma Network. In addition to primary care, we specialize in the treatment of problematic conditions after accidents and corrective operations. We also have particular experience in the treatment of elderly patients geriatric traumatology, severe pelvic and spinal injuries, as well as bone inflammation and bone and soft tissue tumors.
