Thomas Law Ka TungBAppSc, MSc
Thomas Law is a Speech Therapist at the Division of Speech Therapy, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Thomas obtained his speech therapy qualification at the University of Sydney and Masters in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist in Australia and is currently the vice-chairperson of the Hong Kong Association of Speech Therapists. Thomas has worked across both paediatric and adult settings in Australia and Hong Kong.
Thomas specializes in the area of voice and fluency disorders. His research focuses on intervention outcomes in voice therapy, epidemiology of voice disorder, and issues related to perceptual evaluation of voice. Thomas is particularly interested in the patient-clinician processes and dynamics in group voice therapy and their effects on treatment outcome.
