Thomas Jaki is Professor of Statistics at Lancaster University and is directing the Medical and Pharmaceutical Statistics Research Unit (www.mps-research.com). The unit offers advice on the design and analysis of pre-clinical and clinical studies, develops novel statistical methods in these areas and offers professional development courses.
