Thomas Harris BSc, RPh

Thomas Harris is currently Senior Vice-President, Head of Global Regulatory Affairs at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. He is responsible for all global regulatory matters at Takeda and oversees regulatory personnel in US, Europe, Japan and Singapore. Harris has extensive global drug development knowledge, including over 20 years of international regulatory affairs experience in multiple therapeutic areas. Prior to Takeda, Harris was with Abbott Laboratories for 19 years serving first as a research pharmacist, followed by multiple positions of increasing responsibility within Abbott International’s Global Regulatory Affairs function. He also served as Global Project Head leading Humira Global Project Teams within multiple indications. Harris earned a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
