Thomas H. Trojian MD
Thomas Trojian, MD, CAQSM, FACSM, is a sports medicine physician practicing in Philadelphia. He is board certified in sports medicine and family medicine, with a special interest in injury prevention (especially anterior cruciate ligament injuries), sports ultrasound use in the guided treatment of injuries, runners, and concussion prevention. He is the lead physician for Drexel Athletics.
Prior to coming to Drexel, Dr. Trojian served as the medical director of UConn Sports Club. He also was the team physician for the University of Connecticut women's basketball, women's ice hockey, women's lacrosse, women's softball, men's soccer, coed swimming and diving, coed tennis, and men's football teams. In addition, Dr. Trojian has provided athletic team coverage for numerous sports teams ranging from the high school to professional levels. He served as the sports medicine advisor to the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, providing guidance on rule changes and state legislation on injury prevention.
