Thomas Gaass PhD

Thomas Gaass is currently working as a Senior Clinical Scientist at TracInnovations. He earned his MSc in Physics from the University of Regensburg and completed his Ph.D. at the Technische Universitaet Muenchen in Munich, Germany. After finishing his Ph.D., he held a postdoctoral position as the lead MR scientist at the University Hospital Munich before accepting a position as a Senior Collaboration Scientist with Siemens Healthcare in Brisbane, Australia. In this role, he has been instrumental in the international development of two pre-development MRI sequence prototypes, which have been widely disseminated as new research tools for clinical evaluation within the Siemens Research network.
