Thomas Dirschka

Thomas Dirschka finished his medical studies at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in 1993 and has been working in dermatology since that time. After a research stay at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, USA, he was senior physician at the Dermatology Clinic of the Ruhr University Bochum. His special interests are the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, inflammatory skin diseases (eg atopic dermatitis, psoriasis), allergology and aesthetic dermatology. Particular emphasis is placed on surgical and aesthetic dermatosurgery; Thomas Dirschka has been a special delegate of the Professional Association of German Dermatologists for the field of "aesthetic dermatosurgery" for many years.
