Thomas Clark Barber MD

Dr. Thomas Barber is a orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement. I was one of the first orthopedic surgeons in California to do minimally invasive total knee replacement, and have been a pioneer in surface replacement arthroplasty. These techniques have great promise for faster recovery and fewer complications than standard surgeries. I have been doing minimally invasive total hip replacements for over three years now and was one of the original surgeons to evaluate this technique.

Dr. Thomas Barber as Associate Physician In Chief in charge of tertiary care and graduate medical education. I have been elected to serve on the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery Board of Councilors. I am chair elect of the Board of Councilors, and serve of the national board of teh Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
