Clinical work dedicated to minimal invasive therapy for treatment of liver, lung and kidney tumors. Treatment of liver tumor is optimized due to excellent collaboration with surgery and medical oncology teams, namely through devellopement of many synergistic treatment, including optimization of various intra-arterial therapies for primary and secondary liver tumors. We have been working since over 15 years in the field of percutaneous ablation of liver tumors either by direct injection, or more recently physical destruction . Our first RF experience was in 1996. We are also investigated pre-operative portal vein embolization in order to hypertrophy unembolized parts of the liver. These treatments have been develloped from experimental studies in order to allow a rapid transfer from bench-top to clinical applications.
