Thiago Medeiros Graduated with a Full Degree in Physical Education (2010) from the Federal University of Ceara (UFC) and a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition (2020) from Centro Universitário UNINASSAU, a master's degree (2012), a doctorate (2017) and a post-doctorate (2019) in Medical Sciences by UFC. He completed a sandwich doctorate (Scholarship from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - CAPES) in 2016 at the University of Gothenburg (GU) - Sweden in partnership with the Blekinge Center of Competence, Blekinge County Council, in the city of Karlskrona (Sweden). He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR), working in undergraduate teaching with in-person and semi-in-person modules. Also working as a Member of the Structuring Teaching Unit (NDE) of the Physical Education course.

Thiago has experience in the areas of Gymnastics, Physical Fitness, Personalized Training, Public Health, Sleep Biology, Exercise Neuroscience, Strength Training, Management, and Health and Disease. He works as a researcher linked to the UFC Sleep and Biological Rhythms Laboratory in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg (GU)-Sweden. Professor responsible for the study group on Psychophysiology of Physical Exercise at UNIFOR. He carries out clinical and epidemiological studies related to sleep and rhythm disorders, cognition, sleep deprivation, metabolic dysfunctions, learning disorders, physical fitness, quality of life, sports training, and physical exercise in health and illness.
