Theresa Oswald

Theresa Oswald is the CEO of Doctors Manitoba and has held the post since January 2018. She has served as Executive Director of the Women’s Health Clinic, Winnipeg, with a particular focus on women’s sexual and reproductive health, mental health, and wellness. Ms Oswald was an elected member of the Manitoba Legislature from 2003-2016, and during that time she served as Minister of Healthy Living and Minister of Jobs and the Economy. She was also Manitoba’s Minister of Health for more than seven years, making her the longest consecutive serving minister of health in Canada since the introduction of Medicare. Prior to her time in politics, Ms. Oswald served as a teacher and a school administrator in Winnipeg.
