Professor Osathanon currently is the Associate Dean for Research Affairs and the Chair of the Dental Stem Cell Biology Research Unit. His work mainly focused on Notch signaling in oral stem cells. He is also interested in the study of the topics related to the influence of mechanical force stimulation on controlling the dental pulp and periodontal ligament cells. His group works on identifying the signaling controlled mesenchymal and induced pluripotent stem cell differentiation toward Toronto/osteogenic differentiation. Dr. Osathanon works in collaboration with many renowned researchers in Japan, France, and the United State. He also serves as an editor and reviewer of peer-reviewed international journals.
