Thana Harhara Alyafei MBBS, MSc, FRCPC

Dr. Thana AlYafei is an Emirati physician who is a Canadian and American Board certified internist. Dr. Thana completed her training in Internal Medicine and palliative care at the University of Toronto, Canada and has a master’s degree in Leadership in Health Professionals’ Education from The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Dr. Thana has been working as a consultant physician in Internal Medicine at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Abu Dhabi since 2015, and is the program director for the internal medicine residency program. Her areas of interest include advancing palliative and supportive care in the region, and health professionals’ education.
