Tess Koerner PhD

Dr. Koerner uses behavioral and electrophysiological methods to identify and understand neural mechanisms that contribute to auditory processing and speech understanding difficulties in patients who are aging or who have a history of traumatic brain injury (TBI). The long-term goal of Dr. Koerner’s research program is to improve the clinical assessment and identification of auditory deficits as well as to develop more effective rehabilitation methods for individuals with speech understanding difficulties. Dr. Koerner is also a licensed audiologist.
