Terry graduated from Sacred Heart University with his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2000, and received his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine’s Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science in 2009. During his pursuit of his DSc, Terry simultaneously completed his manual therapy fellowship with The Manual Therapy Institute and became a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2010.

Terry obtained board certification in orthopedics (OCS) in 2014. With more than 19 years of clinical experience, Terry’s primary focus is the rehabilitation of the spine including the influence of neurodynamics on the transition from acute to persistent pain. As Director of Education for the Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Rehabilitation Therapy Services, Terry oversees all education endeavors for physical, occupational, and speech-language pathology including each discipline's student programs and all post-professional residency and fellowship programs.
