Teresio Avitabile

Professor of eye diseases at the University of Catania. Born in Taranto in 1957, he graduated from the University of Bari, where he specialized in ophthalmology. He directs the Clinical Division of Ophthalmology of the Hospital University Vittorio Emanuele in Catania. It is secretary of the Italian Society of Ophthalmology.
