Teresa Stachowicz-Stencel is an Assistant professor at the Department of Paediatrics, Hematology, and Oncology of the Medical University of Gdansk. She has a two-level specialization in pediatrics, hematology, and pediatric oncology. In 2013, she obtained the title of doctor habilitated in medical sciences. She has been working professionally for over 20 years as a practicing physician and scientist. She is employed at the Department of Paediatrics, Oncology, and Pediatric Hematology. She was the head of the Pediatric Oncology Department of the Department of Pediatrics, Hematology, and Oncology of the Medical University of Warsaw, she coordinate many anti-cancer therapeutic programs in children, and she is a co-founder of an international program for the treatment of rare tumors in children. She takes an active part in training and international conferences. She is the author and co-author of over 230 Polish and foreign publications and numerous congress reports. She teaches Polish and English Division students at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences. She is proficient in spoken and written English.
