Teng Jiao Peng Zhao, MD, is an assistant professor in the division of vascular neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Peng earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at Boston University. He then completed a one-year internal medicine internship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, a three-year neurology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, and a one-year vascular neurology fellowship also at Yale New Haven Hospital. Prior to UF, he worked as a clinical instructor of Neurology at Yale University while completing a one-year StrokeNet NIH research fellowship. His research interests include the treatment and outcomes of neurovascular diseases, such as ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
