Dr. Harrison is an associate professor in the Department of Neurology, Emory University. He is the Program Director for the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship and serves as the Director for the Grady Health Systems Electromyography Laboratory, which is accredited by the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM). He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry as well as in electrodiagnostic medicine by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Dr. Harrison has a longstanding interest in medical education and he has been the recipient of the Neurology Department Teaching Award in 2010 and 2014 as well as the A. B. Baker Teaching Recognition Certificate, recognizing outstanding teachers in neurology, presented by the American Academy of Neurology in 2013.
