Tara Jones

Tara Jones, completed a Bachelor of Nursing at the Australian Catholic University in 1997, Tara Jones has spent most of her career working at Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton, Victoria. Tara completed a postgraduate diploma in rural critical care, before moving into the role of clinical area educator for the emergency department and spending time teaching at TAFE and university. Tara has completed a graduate certificate in diabetes education and a graduate diploma in vocational education and training.

Recently, Tara has been working in the Goulburn Valley Diabetes Centre as a credentialled diabetes educator and now a complex care Nurse Practitioner, having completed a master of nursing (Nurse Practitioner). Tara has developed the model of care for the complex care Nurse Practitioner, using a collaborative approach to patients with respiratory and cardiac disease, and she is currently working with Goulburn Valley Health in implementing the role.
