Tapankumar Shah MSc

Tapankumar Shah is the Country Director of SM&M India and the Cluster Head of the Asia Area, overseeing SM&M teams in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines. Tapankumar started his career with AstraZeneca in 2015, leading a nascent team that has grown significantly over the years, both in numbers and the portfolio. In the past, he has held positions at Boehringer Ingelheim and Pfizer. He is also a member of the Country Leadership Team of AstraZeneca Pharma India entity and the Regional Leadership Team of SM&M Asia Area. Tapankumar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Master’s in Clinical Research & is currently pursuing another Master’s degree in Data Sciences. He is passionate about the advantages & opportunities that Clinical Research brings to Indian patients and the potential workforce.
