Tanya W. Moseley, MD (formerly Stephens) is a Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She co-chairs the Divisional Council of Gender Inclusiveness Committee at MD Anderson and is the Breast Section Chair of the Divisional Quality Functional Committee.

After completing a diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship in chest and breast imaging at Mayo Clinic Rochester, she joined the faculty at Mayo in 1999. In 2001 she joined the faculty at MD Anderson and is a vital part of MD Anderson’s multidisciplinary breast practice. She has a keen interest in breast density and is planning a research trial to study breast density in high-risk patients.

Dr. Moseley is a co-investigator or collaborator on numerous projects with investigators within the institution and at other institutions. She has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, authored book chapters, lectured at regional, national, and international conferences, and is the Section Chair for the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Case-Based Imaging Review Course. She is also an SA-CME Consulting Editor for the ARRS.

She is an expert educator and directs the MD Anderson Breast Ultrasound Course for Surgical Oncology Fellows and Breast Imaging Technologist Education Program at MD Anderson. Dr. Moseley is working with MD Anderson’s Global Academic Program to develop an ultrasound biopsy teaching video to be shared with MD Anderson sister institutions.
