Dr. Tanya J. Rath is a diagnostic neuroradiologist with clinical expertise and research interest in head and neck and central skull base imaging. Her research interests also include improved communication in radiology reporting and outcomes-driven surveillance algorithms in head and neck cancer. She is also interested in medical education at the graduate and post-graduate level.
Dr. Rath lectures nationally and internationally on head and neck imaging. She is the Division Chair of Neuroradiology at Mayo Clinic Arizona. She is a member of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Appropriateness Criteria Expert Panel on Neurological Imaging for Head and Neck and a member of the Neck Imaging-Reporting and Data System (NI-RADS) Committee for the ACR. She is a Past President of the Eastern Neuroradiological Society. She enjoys spending her time with her four children, her husband, and her two dogs, all of whom remind her to be the best version of herself on any given day and to have gratitude for the opportunities that surround us.
