Tangpo Yang PhD

Tangpo Yang is a Principal Scientist in Chemistry at Pfizer, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He brings deep expertise in covalent drug discovery and chemical biology, with a strong foundation in developing lysine-targeted covalent probes and inhibitors. Tangpo completed his postdoctoral training at UCSF in the lab of Prof. Jack Taunton, where he focused on expanding the scope of targeted covalent therapeutics through innovative lysine-reactive strategies. He earned his PhD from the University of Hong Kong under Prof. Xiang David Li, developing chemical biology tools to profile histone post-translational modification-mediated protein–protein interactions.
