Tammy Mallow MBA

Tammy Mallow has been bringing her expertise in practice management consultation services to DocuTAP clients for over six years. Tammy officially joined the team again in 2014 as Director of Contracting and Credentialing—helping customers negotiate the world of insurance payer contracts and physician credentialing.
Tammy is a graduate of Missouri State University (Go Bears!) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Social Research. Her background is a staggeringly impressive mix of consulting support for start-up and existing urgent cares, along with health systems. Her former roles include Corporate Director of Professional Service Management for the Schumacher Group—and Director of Business Operations for Family Medical Walk-in Clinics, Inc. for over 10 years.
Her vast knowledge includes implementation (and analysis) of workflow, revenue cycles, health plan contracts, enrollment strategy, staffing, and related PM practices. Tammy also helps with the development of compliance programs—and policies and procedures. An active participant in the urgent care community, she is a member of national urgent care organizations, is a published author, and performs regular speaking engagements. And, at some point, Tammy must sleep. When, we’re not sure.
