Tamada Tsutomu

Dr. Tsutomu Tamada is the Professor of Department of Radiology, Kawasaki Medical School in Kurashiki-city, Japan. He is a member of Radiological Society of North America, International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, European Society of Urogenital Radiology, Japan Radiological Society, Japanese Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Japanese Society of Abdominal Radiology, and the Japanese Urological Association.

In research interests, the focus of Dr. Tamada’s research activities is the genitourinary imaging with emphasis on the following areas: multiparametric prostate MR imaging for tumor detection/localization, assessment of tumor aggressiveness and staging in prostate cancer, clinical applications of pre-biopsy prostate MR imaging within the prostate cancer diagnostic pathway, and MR-US fusion-guided prostate biopsy for accurate assessment of tumor aggressiveness in prostate cancer.
