Talat Saeed Chughtai MD, FRCSC

Dr. Talat Chughtai, MD, FRCSC is the Director of the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Hamad General Hospital. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Chughtai graduated from McGill Medical School in Montreal, Canada in 1994, where he also completed his General Surgical Training (FRCSC) in 1999. He completed his Critical Care Medicine Fellowship (FRCPC) in 2002, followed by a Trauma Surgery Fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, University of Toronto, in Ontario, Canada in 2004. From 2004 to 2009, Dr. Chughtai was a Consultant at Sunnybrook, Toronto, in Trauma and Critical Care. From 2010 until 2016, he was a Consultant in Trauma and Critical Care, as well as an Assistant Professor of Surgery, at McGill University in Montreal.
