Taina Nykanen MD, PhD

Dr. Taina Nykanen, MD, Ph.D. is a Head Physician at the HUS Helsinki University Hospital. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kuopio and Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Helsinki. Through medical training, she is a surgeon specializing in gastroenterology surgery (University of Helsinki). During her free time, she is a member of the Health Policy Committee of the Finnish Medical Association, where she enjoys learning from active discussions covering various health policy-related topics.
