T. Neelambujan MBBS, MD, DNB

Dr. Neelambujan T is an Interventional Cardiologist from the port city Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu. He is one of the first few doctors in southern Tamil Nadu to start off cardiovascular interventional procedures. In 2006, he performed Permanent Pacemaker Implant, a feat no one had achieved before in South Tamil Nadu.
Among the several awards that Dr. Neelambujan has bagged for his proficiency, the President Scout Award received in 1985 at the hands of then Honourable President of India, Giani Zail Singh deserves a special mention. He has shared a wealth of medical knowledge and information through articles furnished in publications as well as lectures delivered in forums and conferences on the subject of Cardiology.
Dr. Neelambujan is presently attached to Sundaram Arulrhaj Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospital located in Tuticorin city. He is extremely passionate about his profession and believes in providing high quality cardiac care to his patients.
Besides medical practice, Dr. Neelambujan is committed towards serving the society as an active member of Rotary Club of Pearl City. He has organized over 100 Cardiac camps in Tuticorin and its surrounding districts, for screening and treating patients with heart disease. He believes in the adage ‘Prevention is better than Cure’ and to achieve this he promotes cardiac awareness as a step to prevent heart disease. He stresses on the need to make lifestyle changes to enjoy good cardiac health.
