T. Lenderink has been working in Zuyderland Medical Center since 2003, Lenderink started in Atrium Medical Center. Lenderink passed my medical exam at the University of Leiden. Lenderink became a cardiologist at the Thorax Center in Rotterdam, where Lenderink also obtained my PhD.
Lenderink a general cardiologist and as such Lenderink involved in all aspects of cardiology. In addition, my area of interest is cardiac imaging. This means that Lenderink mainly concerned with examinations and images of the heart that are not bloody: MRI, ultrasound, CT and nuclear research. Lenderink also interested in and involved in conducting scientific research, both independently and in a larger (inter)national context, which is also expressed as a board member of our research department.
One small area of special interest that Lenderink has in my care is pectus excavatum. These are patients with a funnel breast who come to Heerlen from all over the Netherlands to be assessed whether they can be operated on. This was started by a fellow cardiologist and is done within the thoracic surgeon team, in which the MRI of the heart plays an especially important role. Lenderink also a trainer, which means that Lenderink help with the training of new cardiologists who come to do an internship from Maastricht UMC+ in Heerlen. Finally, Lenderin ka member of the daily board of the Cardiology department and Lenderink a member of various committees and working groups of the hospital. With my experience, knowledge and skills Lenderink hope to be able to help patients. Of course in the first instance by curing their condition. If this is not possible or insufficient,
