Sylvana Ingold MD, FMH, SGC, AAAM, FAACS

Dr. Sylvana Ingold is a Swiss citizen and specialist in surgery FMH specializing in cosmetic surgery, aesthetic medicine, and anti-aging with 20 years of experience in the field of aesthetics and over 30,000 aesthetic procedures performed. Dr. Ingold comes from the city where the beauty was born, Athens. After graduating from high school, she decided to study medicine at the oldest and one of the most prestigious universities in the world, the University of Bologna. Dr. Ingold was 4th out of 350 people in the Numerus Clausus and graduated with the title of Doctor-Surgeon Cum Laude. She was awarded her doctorate after completing a scientific thesis in the field of facial surgery with bone transplantation on 243 patients at the University Hospital of Sant Orsola in Bologna. Dr. med. Sylvana Ingold is the founder of InGold Aesthetics with clinics in the heart of Bern and Zug. She is married to Dr. Jonas Ingold and is the mother of three children.

She completed her specialist training at the largest university and cantonal hospitals in Switzerland. Her passion for aesthetics drove her to expand and deepen her knowledge and skills. She completed prestigious international training courses in Singapore, the USA, and Dubai. In 2019, she was awarded the title of internationally recognized expert by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Academy of Medical Excellence after passing the final examination in Dubai with flying colors (Board Certification). In 2021, she developed her injection technique for lip modeling called “The Swiss Lips®” for a harmonious and natural result that is highly appreciated and loved by Swiss patients.

Dr. Ingold is the author of numerous publications, an expert, speaker and moderator at international and national congresses. In 2022 she founded her academy called InGold Aesthetics Academy, which aims to train doctors and medical staff in the field of aesthetics to achieve excellence. Dr. Sylvana Ingold is a leading expert in filler treatments and an international key opinion leader for the Swiss company Teoxane (the world market leader in the field of hyaluronic acid fillers). Through this position, she trains colleagues nationally and internationally in the implementation of aesthetic-medical treatments to help them achieve perfection. She takes time for her patients, analyses each case individually and in detail, and also focuses on guiding patients to long-lasting and natural results. Her friendly and empathetic nature is in perfect harmony with her clear ideas for each clinical case. She always says I have to analyze my patients first, inform them, guide them properly, and only then treat them. Dr. Sylvana Ingold speaks fluent German, Italian, English and Greek. She also has basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
