Sylke J. Steggerda MD, PhD

Sylke J. Steggerda is a Pediatrician and Neonatologist at the Leiden University Medical Center. Sylke Steggerda, MD, Ph.D., received her degree from the Medical School in Utrecht. Afterward, she worked as a resident in Pediatric Neurology at the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital in Utrecht and completed a Pediatric residency and a Neonatology fellowship at the Leiden University Medical Center, The Netherlands. She is a board member of the Dutch-Flemish working party on neonatal neurology and a steering member of the European working party on advanced neonatal cranial ultrasound. She is involved both as an organizer and tutor in multiple international teaching initiatives in neonatal brain imaging.
